Our Story

The story of Vine to Vessel began in 2015, guided by a calling to a hidden gem in the Central Cascade Foothills. Nestled within these 17 picturesque acres, we found everything we had envisioned: rolling hills, soaring timber, and a creek running through the heart of our property. Though it meant saying goodbye to the home where we had raised our family for 21 years, we followed the Lord’s calling toward a new adventure.

We began by transforming the lower grounds into a park-like sanctuary. It has been a humbling privilege to watch this land serve as the backdrop for weddings and milestones, blessing others as they begin their own new chapters.

In 2018, a seed of an idea was planted—quite literally—when a family member suggested the upper slopes were perfect for a vineyard. Soon, we were tilling the soil and planting our first Pinot Noir vines. With the tireless help of loved ones, those vines took root and flourished. As we approached our "third leaf" season, we sought a winemaker who could honor the land’s potential. We were fortunate to partner with Drew Voit, a master of terroir-driven, small-production wines.

Our inaugural harvest in September 2021 was nothing short of exceptional. Under Drew’s masterful hand, our first vintage became two distinct expressions of our journey. We invite you to step into our piece of heaven and experience the fruit of our labor in every bottle of Forbearance and New Leaf.
